Cygnus Creative Arts Centre is a non-profit regional arts organization offering comprehensive programs in a creative, dynamic environment.
Our programs provide a complete study of the visual and performing arts for all ages and levels of experience. Integration of the disciplines is available for those who wish to pursue professional careers or personal study.
Training in the arts enhances imagination, exploration and interaction with the world at large. Cygnus serves as your home for this creative discovery.
OBJECTIVES
The organization’s objectives are to: offer classes in all the arts, to develop talent both young and mature, and to bring the arts into the community through collaborations, workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
The organization achieves these objectives throughout the community and surrounding areas by offering quality diversified programs with degreed professional faculty and qualified professional guest artists.

Our programs provide a complete study of the visual and performing arts for all ages and levels of experience. Our impressive faculty is comprised of highly trained artists who have their Bachelor and Master’s degrees in the arts and have worked professionally all over the world. What do we offer?
What makes Cygnus unique is that we house all artistic disciplines under one roof: dance, drama, music and visual arts. We offer discounts and family rates making Cygnus a “one-stop” arts center. Whether your daughter wants to study ballet or your son wants to play guitar, Cygnus has the lessons you need with great teachers at an affordable rate. Integration of the disciplines is available for students who wish to pursue professional careers or personal study and there is plenty of opportunity for collaboration. What is "Cygnus"?
The swan of the Cygnus Creative Arts Centre logo symbolizes the beauty created through hard work and professional instruction. Cygnus represents to the community, a place where artists of all fields and levels can create, share ideas, learn and grow as individuals in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It is through this creative development and beauty that Cygnus Creative Arts Centre takes it name.

Township of Egg Harbor – The Township Committee has recognized Cygnus as the township’s designated Local Arts Agency. Their support includes the utilization of the Community Center for programs, activities, classes and offices. They clearly recognize the need for the arts to flourish in the community to sustain the diverse quality of life available to the Township residents.
New Jersey State Council on the Arts, through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs — Grants bring in guest artists that afford professional programming for the Art Centre.
